When registering a mortgage, owners and mortgagees should also consider recording an Irrevocable De-registration and Export Request Authorisation (IDERA). This ensures that the authorised party holds the exclusive right to de-register and export the aircraft if required. Refer to CAP GEN 08 – IDERA for further information.
